CastHost widgets allow you to bring your radio station's life directly to your listeners, wherever they are. You can easily embed players, song request forms, and real-time chat boxes into any website using simple copy-and-paste code.

1. The Web Player & Custom Player

Give your audience a seamless way to listen without leaving your site.

• Standard Web Player: A clean, minimalist HTML5 player that focuses on the audio and "Now Playing" metadata.
• Custom Web Player: Personalize the experience! Under Widgets -> Custom Web Player, you can add your own logo, change button colors, and add a station slogan.

2. Interactive Listener Tools

Engage your audience and build a community with these interactive elements:

• Song Request Form: Allow listeners to browse your library and request their favorite tracks. Requests appear in your dashboard for approval or automatic playback.
• Live Chat Box: Create a real-time hangout spot for your listeners. Perfect for live talk shows and special events.

3. Real-Time Information Widgets

Keep your website content fresh with automatic updates:

• Recent Tracks: Displays a professional list of the last 5-10 songs played, complete with album art and "Buy Now" links.
• Station Schedule: Embed your AutoDJ calendar so listeners always know when their favorite shows are airing.
• Stream Status: A simple text or icon widget that shows if your station is currently "Live" or "Off-Air."

4. How to Embed a Widget

1. Navigate to the Widgets section in your dashboard sidebar.
2. Use the Choose Widget dropdown to select the tool you want.
3. Configure the settings (colors, size, number of tracks).
4. Copy the Code: You will see two snippets. One <span> or <div> for the location, and one <script> for the functionality.
5. Paste into your site: Place the location code where you want the widget to appear, and the script code just before your </body> tag.
